Oxfam, to contribute actively to the development of country plans and
strategies, which are aligned to corporate objectives and priorities. To be
responsible for managing staff to ensure implementation of financial and
logistics strategies, policies and procedures and the provision of quality
information, committed teams in the respective functions and to support
programme teams and other support functions.</span><br />

Qualifications:</span></b></div>

candidate envisaged for this role will hold a post graduate degree in
relevant discipline or equivalent professional qualification and
experience. Hold expertise in the application of strategic financial
management and experience in maximising resources utilisation.
Professionally qualified finance manager with some experience in large
and complex organisations and the ability to influence and support
colleagues in appreciating the importance of financial standards
procedures and controls. </span><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size: 11pt;">Strong ability and willingness to communicate effectively promote a team environment and transfer skills.</span><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size: 11pt;">Possess
Strong planning and analytical skills with the ability and confidence
to analyse current needs in your area of operation, and make
recommendation for changes when necessary. You will have experience of
working with computerised accounting packages and spreadsheets. Prior
experience working for an International NGO in an emergency or
development context would be desirable. Excellent written and oral
English is essential and good Kiswahili language skills would be an
advantage.</span><br />

Fulbright will pay for travel, health insurance and monthly maintenance of the selected candidates. Institutions where the FLTAs are placed provide tuition scholarships for the required coursework. The selection process for Tanzania is facilitated through the American Embassy in Dar es Salaam. <br />

Applicants must be English teachers with a Bachelors degree, between 21-29 years of age who are willing to travel without their dependants for one academic year.<br />
